DEUTER Freerider 24 reppu — 24 L, 970 g, keltainen, skitouringreppu

DEUTER Freerider 24 is a unisex ski touring backpack in yellow with a 24 L capacity and a zipper closure. With external dimensions of 330×550×160 mm and a weight of 970 g, this pack is designed to carry essential equipment for day trips in the mountains, keeping a compact profile suitable for active movement.

Advantages

The Freerider 24 combines a moderate 24 L volume with a lightweight construction to balance carrying capacity and mobility during ski touring. Its zipper closure provides quick access to the main compartment while the unisex design and bright yellow colour improve visibility on the slope. The integrated SOS label and a structured internal layout support organised storage of safety equipment, clothing layers and small accessories.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The Freerider 24 is not intended for multi-day expeditions or extended trips that require large volumes of gear. Users needing significantly more carrying capacity or specialised frame support for heavy loads should consider larger or expedition-specific packs.

How to use

Pack the heaviest and most important items, such as avalanche probe and shovel, close to your back for stability and easy access. Use the main zipper to open the compartment fully for quick loading and unloading. Place a hydration bladder or bottle in the main compartment and route the drinking tube through the available opening. Store spare layers and gloves toward the top or front of the pack for rapid access when weather changes. Check that the SOS label is visible and adjust all straps for a snug, comfortable fit before setting off.
