Dexlan verkkokaapeli 858745 2 m Cat6a S/FTP valkoinen

The Dexlan networking cable 858745 2 m Cat6a S/FTP White is a 2-metre Ethernet patch cable built to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is intended for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks, delivering performance suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances while maintaining signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits cleanly into visible installations.

Advantages

Cat6a performance supports higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables. S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to limit electromagnetic interference and improve noise immunity in crowded cable environments. The pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors provide plug-and-play compatibility with standard network equipment. The 2 m length is convenient for patching between wall outlets, switches and desktop devices without excess cable slack.

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector securely into the corresponding Ethernet ports of your devices and network equipment until the connector latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinking or tight bundling with power cables to maintain signal performance. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management such as clips or cable ties and avoid stretching the cable beyond its length. Test the connection using network diagnostics or a link tester to confirm negotiated speed and connectivity.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP patch cable for short patch runs between switches, patch panels and client devices where higher bandwidth and improved shielding are required. Avoid running the cable in direct contact with high-voltage power lines or sources of strong interference; maintain bend radius recommendations and secure connections at both ends to ensure reliable performance.
