Verkkokaapeli Dexlan 858361 Cat6a S/FTP 1m valkoinen

The Dexlan 858361 Cat6a S/FTP 1m White is a 1-metre network patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed to Cat6a specifications with S/FTP shielding, it supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances and helps reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in white for a discreet appearance in home or office installations.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable provides improved noise rejection thanks to overall foil shielding combined with individually shielded twisted pairs, which reduces crosstalk and external interference. The 1 m length offers a compact solution for connecting devices in racks, patch panels, or desktop setups without excess cable. RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports, and the white jacket delivers a neat visual integration with light-coloured interiors.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable; maintain a gentle bend radius and route the cable away from strong electrical noise sources. Use cable management accessories if installing multiple runs to prevent mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For best results in high-speed networks, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short interconnects where shielding reduces interference risk. Verify that connected equipment supports 10 Gbps if that bandwidth is required, and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for the desired data rate.
