DIGITUS ulkoverkkokaapeli – CAT6 – S/FTP – suojuksella – Cu – 1 m – musta vaippa

DIGITUS Category 6 Class E patch cord provides reliable network performance and link quality with UV-resistant construction suitable for outdoor installations. The cord is tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 standards and delivers consistent performance up to 250 MHz, including parameters such as near end crosstalk (NEXT). The cable comes with a molded boot offering kink protection, strain relief and an integrated latch protector. PoE+ compatibility is supported.

Advantages

UV-resistant LDPE/PE sheath ensures durability in sunlight and temperature fluctuations. Molded boots with kink protection and strain relief improve connector longevity and reduce mechanical stress. Integrated latch protection prevents damage to the latching lever. Compliance with Category 6 standards guarantees channel-level performance up to 250 MHz, suitable for demanding network applications. PoE+ ready for use with powered devices.

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173 Category 6 (Class E)
• Frequency range: up to 250 MHz
• Performance parameter: NEXT (near end crosstalk) tested
• Sheath: UV-resistant LDPE/PE
• Connectors: molded boots with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection
• PoE: PoE+ ready

How to use

Install the patch cord between compatible Category 6 jacks or equipment ports, ensuring connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the molded boot provides kink protection but standard cable management practices should be observed. For outdoor or sun-exposed runs, verify that connectors and terminations are protected from direct moisture to maintain long-term reliability. The cord supports PoE+ powered devices when connected to a compliant power sourcing equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal system performance, combine these Category 6 patch cords with Category 6-compliant patch panels and jacks and follow recommended channel installation practices. For extended outdoor exposure, consider additional protective measures such as sealed enclosures or conduit to prevent water ingress at connection points.
