USB-kaapeli ASSMANN Electronic AK-300115-018-S

The ASSMANN Electronic AK-300115-018-S is a 1.8 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable with USB A to USB B male connectors, designed to connect external USB 3.0/3.1 devices to a PC, notebook or USB hub. The cable supports SuperSpeed data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and uses nickel-plated contacts for durable and reliable connections. Its dense shielding enables stable signal transmission even over longer distances, and the black jacket provides a discreet appearance.

Advantages

The cable provides SuperSpeed data transfer up to 5 Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices. Nickel-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Dense screening reduces electromagnetic interference for a more stable connection when attaching external HDD enclosures, scanners, printers or other USB B devices. The 1.8 m length offers flexibility for typical workstation setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting external HDD enclosures with USB B sockets to PCs or notebooks
• Linking scanners or printers with a USB B interface to a computer
• Use with USB hubs or docking stations that accept USB B input

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB B (male)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed, up to 5 Gbps)
• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Product colour: Black
• Contacts: Nickel-plated

How to use

Plug the USB A connector into an available USB host port on your PC, notebook or USB hub and connect the USB B connector to the external device (for example an HDD enclosure, scanner or printer). Ensure both devices are powered if required. The host device should detect the connected peripheral automatically and establish a SuperSpeed connection when supported by both ends.

Recommendations

For best performance, connect both ends securely and avoid tight bends near the connectors. Use the cable with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 to achieve the 5 Gbps data rate; the cable remains compatible with USB 2.0 but at lower speeds.
