DIGITUS USB Type-C - USB Type-C AOC hybridi-kuitu-kaapeli 4K@60Hz USB 3.1 SPEC 15 m

The Digitus 4K USB Type-C AOC AV Connection Cable (15 m) transfers uncompressed audio and video signals in UHD 4K resolution with up to 21.6 Gbps bandwidth. This active cable uses a hybrid construction of copper and fiber optic strands to provide long-distance, loss-free transmission while remaining lightweight and having a tight bending radius. It supports DisplayPort 1.2 and DP Alt Mode over USB-C and requires no external power.

Advantages

The hybrid copper-and-fiber design enables high bandwidths up to 21.6 Gbit/s and immunity to electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable, lossless transmission of uncompressed video and audio up to 4K/60Hz. The cable is thin, lightweight and maintains a very small bending radius, which simplifies routing and installation. Plug & Play functionality allows immediate use without driver installation, and the cable is compatible with all USB Type-C video interface devices. No external power supply is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops with USB-C output to USB-C monitors and displays
• Home theatre AV setups requiring long cable runs
• Meeting rooms and conference room video links
• In-building video wiring and AV installations

How to use

Connect the cable’s USB-C input end to the source device (for example a notebook with USB-C video output) and the USB-C output end to the display or monitor with a USB-C video input. The active AOC cable is unidirectional; ensure correct orientation of source and display. After plugging in, the connection is established via Plug & Play—no drivers or external power supply are required. Verify the source device is set to output video over USB-C/DP Alt Mode and configure display resolution to up to 4K/60Hz as supported.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid bending the cable beyond its rated minimum bend radius and keep it clear of strong electromagnetic sources. Use the 15 m USB-C AOC cable where a long, interference-free transmission is required, and confirm device compatibility with DisplayPort 1.2/DP Alt Mode for full 4K/60Hz support.
