Digitus valmiiksi koottu yleis-breakout-kaapeli kuitu OM4 12 kuitua LC/UPC - LC/UPC 150m

The Digitus pre-assembled fiberglass universal breakout cable is a ready-to-use multimode OM4 fiber cable with 12 individually protected fibers and LC/UPC connectors on both ends. Designed for indoor and outdoor installations that require robust mechanical protection and fast deployment, the cable comes with a measured performance protocol and pull-in aids on both sides for secure installation. Standard length is 150 m and the outer jacket is black LSZH.

Advantages

This pre-terminated breakout cable eliminates the need for field splicing and reduces installation time by offering factory-fitted, high-quality LC/UPC connectors. The construction provides high mechanical protection for each fiber, halogen-free LSZH jacket material, low insertion loss (max. 0.3 dB for multimode) and measurement documentation supplied with the product. Pull-in aids and a robust protective tube simplify routing and handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Cable runs between network cabinets and patch panels
• Data center horizontal or backbone links up to 150 m
• Indoor installations requiring low-smoke zero-halogen jacket
• Outdoor duct or protected conduit installations with mechanical protection
• Applications requiring quick plug & play connections without splicing

How to use

Route the pre-assembled breakout cable through the intended pathway using the pull-in aids on both ends to reduce strain on the fibers. Terminate at patch panels or network cabinets by inserting the LC/UPC connectors into the corresponding ports; no splicing is required. Secure the protective tube and strain relief according to the cabinet or panel manufacturer's instructions and verify connections using the supplied measurement protocol if needed.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the outer jacket and protective tube to avoid bending the individual fiber legs beyond the specified minimum bend radius. Store and install within the specified temperature range and avoid exposure to sharp edges or excessive tensile loads to maintain the guaranteed optical performance.
