DIGITUS verkkokaapeli - CAT6 - U/UTP - Snagless - Cu - 10 m - vihreä

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 U/UTP RJ-45 10m in green is a Category 6 patch cord designed for structured cabling systems and high-speed Ethernet connections. Manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, the cable is tested up to 250 MHz and supports PoE+ applications. The cable features copper conductors, U/UTP construction and transparent red-colored RJ-45 plugs for straightforward identification of Category 6 performance.

Advantages

This CAT 6 patch cord offers LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and reduced smoke emissions, molded boots with kink protection and strain relief, and latch protection to prevent connector clip breakage. The RJ-45 connectors have gold-plated contacts and the cable is suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, ensuring reliable data transfer and conformity with ISO & EN channel specifications.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbit/s) and Fast Ethernet networks
• Structured cabling in offices, server rooms and data centers
• Power over Ethernet (PoE and PoE+) powered devices
• Patch panels and wall outlets with RJ-45 ports

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (PC, switch, router or PoE injector) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and that cable routing avoids sharp bends or pinching. For best performance, maintain proper patch cord lengths and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines to reduce possible interference.

Recommendations

Use the DIGITUS CAT 6 patch cord for indoor structured cabling where LSZH properties are required; inspect connectors for secure latching and replace the cable if the molded boot or latch protection is damaged to preserve signal integrity and safety.
