DIGITUS verkkokaapeli – CAT6 – U/UTP – Snagless – Cu – 50 cm – valkoinen

The DIGITUS Patch Cord CAT 6 U/UTP LSZH 0.5 m is a Category 6 network patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. Constructed with copper conductors and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath, the 0.5 m cable offers compliant performance up to 250 MHz and is PoE+ ready. The connector housings are transparent red to allow quick visual identification of Category 6 cables while the cable jacket is white.

Advantages

The cable meets ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications and is factory-tested for channel performance including NEXT up to 250 MHz. The molded boots include kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to reduce connector damage. LSZH material minimizes smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, and copper conductors ensure good conductivity for network signals and PoE+ applications.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting switches, patch panels and network devices in office or home networks
• Short patch runs in server rooms, communication cabinets and workstations
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices such as IP phones, access points and cameras

Key specifications

• Category: Category 6 (Class E)
• Performance: tested up to 250 MHz
• Length: 0.5 m
• Conductor: Copper (Cu)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, transparent red plug
• Color: White jacket
• PoE: PoE+ ready

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the device and the other into the corresponding switch, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and that the cable is routed without sharp bends to maintain the integrity of the molded boot and kink protection. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m DIGITUS CAT 6 patch cord for short, reliable connections inside racks, cabinets and at workstations. For longer runs select appropriate cable lengths; for installations in areas with special fire-protection requirements, the LSZH sheath provides reduced smoke and halogen emissions.
