DisplayPort - Single Link -sovitin Lenovo 45R5783, tukee resoluutioita 1920x1200 asti

The Lenovo DisplayPort to Single Link Adapter converts a DisplayPort output into a Single Link (DVI-I single-link) compatible interface, enabling connection of older monitors or projectors to modern DisplayPort-equipped computers. The adapter supports video transmission at resolutions up to 1920x1200, offering a compact and portable solution for workstations, office PCs and meeting-room setups where a Single Link input is required. Its small form factor facilitates easy transport and quick on-site connectivity without changing the source device.

Advantages

This adapter provides a straightforward way to use legacy displays with DisplayPort-only systems, maintaining up to 1920x1200 resolution for typical office and presentation needs. The compact design requires minimal desk space and is simple to install without additional drivers. It reduces the need for replacing functional monitors or projectors when connecting to newer hardware and supports reliable digital-to-digital signal adaptation for standard single-link displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting older DVI-I single-link monitors to DisplayPort computers
• Office workstations and business PCs requiring a Single Link interface
• Conference rooms and classrooms with projectors or screens limited to single-link resolution
• Temporary setups and IT maintenance where a compact adapter is preferred

Key specifications

• Connector type: DisplayPort (input) to Single Link DVI-compatible output
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 1920 x 1200 pixels
• Signal type: single-link digital video
• Form factor: compact, inline adapter suitable for portability
• Usage environment: compatible with standard desktop and mobile DisplayPort outputs

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the adapter to the DisplayPort output on your computer or docking station, then attach the Single Link cable from your monitor or projector to the adapter's output. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input on the monitor or projector to the connected Single Link port. The operating system should detect the external display automatically; adjust resolution and display settings in your system display preferences as needed to select up to 1920x1200.

Recommendations

Use a quality single-link DVI cable and avoid excessive cable length to preserve signal integrity. For resolutions or features beyond 1920x1200 (for example higher refresh rates or dual-link requirements), consider a different adapter or native DisplayPort-compatible display. Keep the adapter in a dry, dust-free environment and disconnect when transporting to prevent connector damage.
