DSIT CAT 6a S/FTP LSOH verkkokaapeli 5 m harmaa (DC-6A1-050)

For installations where fire safety and signal integrity are non-negotiable, the DSIT CAT 6a S/FTP LSOH cable delivers 10 Gigabit performance without the halogen risk. Unlike standard PVC-jacketed patch leads, its low-smoke zero-halogen sheath emits minimal toxic fumes and corrosive gases in the event of fire, making it the responsible choice for offices, schools, hospitals and data centres. Each twisted pair is individually foil-shielded and the entire bundle is wrapped in a braided screen, virtually eliminating alien crosstalk and EMI even in dense cable trays.

Highlights

• Category 6a performance: supports 10GBASE-T up to 500 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP shielding: foil per pair plus overall braid for superior noise immunity
• LSOH jacket: low smoke, zero halogen, flame-retardant to IEC 60332-1
• Oxygen-free copper conductors, 26 AWG stranded for flexibility
• Snagless RJ45 plugs with 50-micron gold-plated contacts
• 5-metre length, grey colour, TIA/EIA 568B wiring

In daily use

Plug this cable between a PoE switch and a high-power access point, IP camera or workstation, and it will carry both data and power without overheating. The stranded copper core withstands repeated bending and re-routing, while the robust moulded strain relief protects the connector from accidental tugs. Because the jacket is halogen-free, it is also suitable for enclosed spaces where air quality and evacuation safety are critical.
