DVI-D Dual Link -jatkokaapeli Equip 118973 3 m

The equip® DVI-D Dual Link Extension Cable (3 m) is a black DVI-D to DVI-D video cable designed to extend digital video connections between DVI-enabled devices. With dual-link DVI-D male connectors on both ends and a 3 metre length, the cable supports sturdy digital signal transmission for monitors, digital projectors, DVD players and HDTV displays without introducing interference.

Advantages

This 3 m DVI-D Dual Link cable provides a secure digital interface that preserves video quality over extended distance. Its dual-link design allows for higher bandwidth compared with single-link DVI, while the male-to-male connectors ensure compatibility with standard DVI-D ports. The cable is lightweight (approx. 220 g) and comes in a compact package suitable for home or office installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-enabled PC or graphics card to a DVI monitor
• Linking video sources such as DVD players or set-top boxes to displays with DVI-D input
• Extending the reach between digital projectors and playback devices
• Home or office display setups requiring reliable digital video connections

How to use

Identify the DVI-D ports on both the source device (for example a PC, DVD player or set-top box) and the target display (monitor, projector or HDTV). Align the DVI-D connector pins and gently insert each male connector into the corresponding DVI-D female port until the connector is seated. If the connector has securing screws, tighten them by hand to secure the connection. Power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display. No additional drivers are required for a passive DVI-D cable.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources to minimise the risk of signal degradation. Verify that both devices support DVI-D and, if you need audio, use a separate audio connection since DVI-D carries video only.
