Its 3 m length offers flexible placement options for monitors and projectors. The 8 mm diameter and molded connectors contribute to durability and stable signal integrity during use.

• Connecting a VGA projector to a DVI output
• Replacing or extending existing DVI–VGA cabling in home or office setups

How to use

Connect the DVI 12+5 male end of the cable to the DVI output on the PC or laptop and attach the VGA male end to the VGA input on the monitor or projector. Secure the connectors by tightening the thumbscrews on the VGA connector if present. Configure the display settings on the source device as needed to match the monitor or projector resolution and refresh rate.

Recommendations

For analog signal transmission, ensure the source DVI port supports analog (DVI-A or DVI-I). If the DVI output is digital-only (DVI-D), this passive cable will not provide a signal and an active converter is required.
