EDELRID Crayfish Beast Auto-Night-Oasis jarrustettu laskeutumislaite

The EDELRID Crayfish Beast Auto-Night-Oasis is a specialized assisted-braking resistor designed for belaying with significant weight differences between climber and belayer. It increases friction on the rope to compensate for weight disparity, enabling safer and more controlled belaying when the belayer is up to 40 kg lighter than the climber. This robust device is optimized for use with HMS carabiners and works in conjunction with standard belay devices.

Advantages

Significantly reduces the force required to hold a fall, enables smoother and more controlled lowering of heavier climbers, and helps reduce impact force on the belayer. Its durable construction ensures extended use in demanding climbing environments.

Suitable for

• Belaying with substantial weight differences (belayer up to 40 kg lighter)
• Single rope climbing (rope diameter 8.9 - 11.0 mm)
• Installation at the first quickdraw
