EPSON KOTELO, PICKUP, ASSY (1736257) – laserlinssin optinen pickup-yksikkö KSM-213CDM

This pickup assembly stands out for its KSM-213CDM series design, a widely used optical unit for CD players that need a reliable replacement laser mechanism. It is built to read audio data from compact discs with automatic focusing and tracking, making it suitable for home audio, car CD players, and mini hi-fi systems.

Highlights

• Semiconductor laser diode with 780 nm wavelength
• Single-beam objective lens with automatic focusing and tracking
• Flexible flat cable (FFC) / multi-pin connector interface
• Plastic / metal alloy housing with optical grade lens

In daily use

When a CD player starts skipping or fails to read discs, this assembly restores playback. The anti-static solder point protects the laser diode during handling and must be removed before installation. Output power is under 5 mW, consistent with Class 1 laser products.
