HomeMatic IP -adapterisarja Danfoss by Homematic IP, malli 76146

The HomeMatic IP Adapter Set Danfoss by Homematic IP (model 76146) is an accessory kit that enables integration of Danfoss radiator valve bodies with the HomeMatic IP smart heating system. The set provides the necessary mechanical adapters to mount HomeMatic IP thermostatic actuators or compatible smart controllers onto common Danfoss valve types, allowing centralized control via the HomeMatic IP app and gateway. The kit is intended for retrofitting existing radiators to add remote temperature control, schedules and scene-based automation within residential and small commercial heating installations.

Advantages

This adapter set ensures secure mechanical compatibility between Danfoss valve bodies and HomeMatic IP actuators, reducing installation time and minimizing the need for valve replacement. By enabling direct attachment of smart controllers, the adapters preserve the original valve hardware while adding features such as remote temperature adjustment, weekly scheduling and integration with other smart home devices. The design focuses on reliable fit and straightforward retrofit use.

Suitable for

• Retrofitting existing radiators with Danfoss-type valve bodies
• Upgrading manual thermostatic valves to HomeMatic IP smart control
• Residential apartments and houses seeking centralized heating control
• Small commercial spaces with radiator heating systems

Key specifications

• Compatibility: adapters for common Danfoss radiator valve bodies and thermostatic controllers
• Material: durable plastics and metal components for secure mounting
• Application: retrofit kit for radiator thermostatic valve interfaces
• Installation type: mechanical adapter set for direct actuator attachment
• Environment: indoor use within typical heating system temperature ranges

How to use

Identify the Danfoss valve type on the radiator and select the matching adapter from the set. Remove any existing manual head if present, attach the adapter to the valve spindle according to the included instructions, and then mount the HomeMatic IP actuator or compatible thermostatic controller onto the adapter. After mechanical installation, configure the actuator in the HomeMatic IP app or gateway, perform any required calibration, and create desired schedules or scenes for temperature control.

Recommendations

Verify valve compatibility before installation and follow the manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Use the set for retrofits where the valve body is in good condition; replace worn or damaged valves prior to adapter installation. For reliable wireless operation and full feature access, pair actuators with a HomeMatic IP gateway and keep firmware up to date.
