EQUIP 605509 Cat.6 S/FTP RJ45 verkkokaapeli, 20 m, harmaa, LSZH

Long cable runs in office or industrial environments often suffer from electromagnetic interference, causing slow speeds or dropped connections. This 20-metre Cat.6 patch cable with S/FTP shielding eliminates that problem, delivering reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance even near power lines or machinery.

Who is it for

Network administrators and IT professionals who need a dependable, long-reach cable for connecting servers, switches, or workstations in electrically noisy areas. Ideal for structured cabling in offices, data centres, or industrial settings where interference is a concern.

Main features

• S/FTP shielding: each pair is foiled and the entire cable is braided, providing excellent protection against EMI and crosstalk.
• Cat.6 performance: supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and data rates up to 1 Gbps, suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T networks.
• LSZH jacket: low smoke zero halogen material reduces toxic fumes and smoke in case of fire, making it safer for enclosed spaces.
• Snagless molded boots: protect the locking tabs on the RJ45 connectors during installation and repeated use.
• Stranded copper conductors (AWG 27/7): flexible and durable, ideal for patch panel and equipment connections.

Tips

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable. When routing through cable trays, keep away from high-voltage power cables to maximise the shielding effectiveness.
