Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch-kaapeli, 3,0 m, oranssi

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP Patch Cable (3 m) is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10 000 Mbit/s. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and an S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) structure to minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain stable signal quality in demanding network environments. The cable is orange and intended for professional and home network installations requiring 10GBase-T performance.

Advantages

The Cat.6A S/FTP construction provides improved bandwidth and a better signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, supporting reliable 10G performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer good conductivity and corrosion resistance for long-term contact stability. The 3 m length balances reach and flexibility while the visible orange jacket helps cable identification in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections
• Patch panels and switches in data centres
• High-speed desktop or workstation links
• Noisy electromagnetic environments requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Category: Cat.6A (S/FTP)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10 000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.128 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your switch, router or patch panel and the other to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain separation from strong electrical sources if possible. For rack installations, use suitable cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in environments that match its Cat.6A S/FTP specification and avoid excessive bending radii. Regularly inspect connectors for debris and ensure both ends are properly seated to maintain 10G data rates.
