Equip Cat.6A S/FTP -ulkokäyttöön tarkoitettu verkkokaapeli, 20 m, RJ-45–RJ-45, musta

EQUIP Cat.6A S/FTP Outdoor Patch Cable, 20 m, with RJ-45 to RJ-45 connectors is designed for outdoor and industrial network connections where stable, high-speed data transmission is required. The cable meets Cat6a standards with S/FTP (foil with braided overall shield) construction and supports up to 10 000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s) over its 20 m length while offering protection against electromagnetic interference and harsh environmental conditions.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding (pairs in metal foil plus braid) reduces crosstalk and EMI/RFI, ensuring reliable signal integrity for data-intensive applications. A stranded bare copper conductor and 500 MHz performance enable 10 Gbit/s transmission. The outdoor-grade LDPE jacket is UV-, oil- and splash-water resistant and the molded snagless boots with strain relief simplify installation and prevent connector damage.

Suitable for

• Outdoor surveillance camera connections
• Links between building network points and outdoor network devices
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices (e.g., access points, cameras)
• IoT installations and industrial networking
• Temporary or permanent outdoor network runs up to 20 m

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 straight male plug to a network device (switch, router, PoE injector) and the other to the remote device (camera, access point, computer). Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive bending; maintain the specified minimum bend radius. For outdoor runs, secure the cable with appropriate clips or conduit to reduce mechanical strain and exposure to direct abrasion.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor installations, place the cable in UV-stable conduit where possible and avoid prolonged exposure to standing water. Verify PoE power budgets for connected devices before deployment. Test the link after installation to confirm 10 Gbit/s performance if required.
