Equip Cat.6A S/FTP -ulkokäyttöön tarkoitettu verkkokaapeli, 40 m, RJ-45–RJ-45, musta

The EQUIP Cat.6A S/FTP Outdoor Patch Cable, 40 m, with RJ-45 connectors at both ends, is designed for high-speed outdoor networking. The cable features S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and support stable 10 Gbit/s data transmission. Its weather-resistant LDPE jacket and robust construction make it suitable for outdoor installations and industrial environments where UV, moisture and temperature variations occur.

Advantages

Advanced S/FTP shielding and PIMF (pairs in metal foil) reduce crosstalk and EMI/RFI, improving signal stability for data-intensive uses. A stranded bare copper conductor and 500 MHz performance bandwidth support 10 Gbit/s over the cable length. The outdoor-grade LDPE jacket is UV- and oil-resistant, splash-water protected and provides abrasion and moisture resistance. Molded boots with strain relief and a snagless design simplify installation and protect connectors.

Suitable for

• Outdoor network extensions between buildings
• Outdoor surveillance and security camera systems
• Industrial networking and IoT device connections
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices (e.g., access points, cameras)
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and cloud services

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring connectors remain dry and clean. Plug RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on switches, routers or cameras until they click into place. Use the molded boot and strain relief to reduce mechanical stress at connection points. If running the cable through exposed outdoor paths, fix it with appropriate clips or conduits and avoid tight bends to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term outdoor performance, install the cable with proper UV-protected mounting hardware, avoid prolonged exposure to chemical contaminants, and follow local building codes for outdoor cabling. Verify PoE power requirements against device specifications to ensure safe operation.
