Equip HD15 VGA -kaapeli, 20 m

The equip® VGA Cable HD15 20m is a 20-metre black VGA (D-Sub) cable designed to connect monitors, projectors and other VGA-equipped devices. Constructed with knurled screws and integrated ferrite beads, the cable provides a secure physical connection and improved interference suppression for long-distance analog video transmission.

Advantages

The cable's knurled screws ensure a firm, vibration-resistant connection to VGA ports, while ferrite beads help reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal quality over the 20 m length. RoHS-compliant materials and a compact package make the cable suitable for professional and educational installations where reliable VGA connectivity is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to monitors located at a distance
• Hooking laptops or PCs to projectors in classrooms or meeting rooms
• Extending VGA connections in conference or presentation setups

Key specifications

• Model / MPN: 118816
• Cable length: 20 m
• Connectors: VGA (D-Sub) to VGA (D-Sub)
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 1.06 kg

How to use

Align the HD15 VGA connectors with the VGA ports on both devices, insert the plugs fully and tighten the knurled screws by hand until snug to secure the connection. Use the cable routing that avoids sharp bends and keeps the ferrite beads clear of tight clamps or excessive twisting to preserve signal integrity. When disconnecting, loosen the screws before pulling the connector out.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for analog VGA video only; for best results, avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and keep connector contacts free of dust. For distances longer than 20 m or where higher-resolution digital signals are needed, consider using an active VGA extender or a digital interface such as HDMI or DisplayPort.
