Eristekalvo Tesa 05430-00000-00 170 cm x 150 cm läpinäkyvä

Transparent insulation film Tesa 05430-00000-00, size 170 cm x 150 cm, is a lightweight sheet designed to reduce heat loss through windows and doors. Made for temporary thermal and draft insulation, the film is easy to cut and fit to different frame sizes and shapes. It provides an additional barrier against cold air infiltration and dust while remaining visually unobtrusive thanks to its transparent surface.

Advantages

The film is thin and flexible, allowing fast adaptation to window and door profiles. Its transparency preserves natural light and sightlines while improving thermal performance. Easy handling and simple trimming make it suitable for quick seasonal sealing or temporary insulation projects. The material is lightweight and easy to store when not in use.

Suitable for

• Seasonal sealing of single-pane or older windows
• Temporary insulation of doors and small openings
• DIY draft reduction in rental properties or workshops
• Protection of interior surfaces from dust during short-term renovations

Key specifications

• Material: transparent insulation film
• Dimensions: 170 cm × 150 cm
• Weight: lightweight, easy to handle
• Optical property: clear / transparent
• Application type: temporary/seasonal insulation

How to use

Measure the window or door area to be insulated and cut the film to the required size using scissors or a sharp knife. Clean and dry the surface around the frame to ensure good adhesion if using tape or mounting strips. Apply the film, smoothing out creases and ensuring a close fit to the frame edges; excess film can be trimmed after application. For best thermal effect, install tautly to minimize air gaps between film and glass or frame.

Recommendations

For optimal results, install the film on clean, dry surfaces and avoid stretching it excessively. Use appropriate adhesive tape or mounting strips compatible with painted or coated frames to prevent surface damage. Remove the film carefully when no longer needed and store flat or rolled to avoid creasing.
