Eristysnauha TESA Signal Universal 66 m

tesa® Signal universal is a multi-purpose adhesive barricade tape made of durable polypropylene (PP). With a length of 66 m and width of 55 mm, the tape is designed to create visible safety barriers and mark permanent obstacles or hazardous areas. It is available in a red-and-white signal design and conforms to EU regulations for marking; the construction combines a strong PP backing with a solvent-free self-adhesive coating and provides durable UV resistance for long-term outdoor use.

Advantages

The tape offers a robust PP backing and a solvent-free adhesive that adheres reliably to many surfaces while allowing clean removal when required. Its 66 m length and 55 mm width provide extended coverage from a single roll, and the UV-resistant construction maintains colour and visibility in outdoor conditions. Conformity with EU regulations ensures the product meets common safety marking standards.

Suitable for

• Marking hazardous zones on construction sites
• Creating temporary or semi-permanent safety barriers
• Identifying permanent obstacles or restricted areas

How to use

Unroll the tape and press the adhesive side onto the clean, dry surface you want to mark. Apply pressure along the tape to ensure good contact with the substrate. For uninterrupted long runs, overlap ends by a few centimetres. To remove, peel the tape back slowly at a shallow angle; for long-term installations on porous or sensitive surfaces, test a small area first to confirm removability.

Recommendations

Use the red-and-white tesa® Signal universal for clear visual marking where conformity with EU signalling is required. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance and colour stability. For applications requiring higher abrasion resistance or adhesive strength on rough surfaces, consider testing adhesion or consulting technical data from the manufacturer.
