Espressokeitin Gastroback 42625 1,5 L

The GASTROBACK Espresso machine 42625 1.5L is a countertop coffee brewer designed to prepare espresso and milk-based drinks in a compact home or small-office environment. The unit combines a built-in grinder, a 1.5-litre water reservoir and a steam wand to deliver freshly ground espresso and textured milk for cappuccinos and lattes. Controls allow adjustment of coffee strength and extraction to suit different beans and personal taste.

Advantages

This espresso machine integrates a grinder so you can brew from freshly ground beans without needing a separate appliance. The 1.5 L reservoir reduces refill frequency when preparing multiple cups, while the steam wand enables manual milk frothing for a variety of hot beverages. Intuitive controls let you select extraction strength and adapt brew parameters quickly. The compact footprint and straightforward interface make it suitable for everyday use and for users familiarising themselves with espresso preparation.

• Compact countertop design suitable for small kitchens

How to use

Fill the 1.5 L water reservoir with fresh water and insert whole coffee beans into the grinder hopper. Select the desired grind setting if available, then set the coffee strength control to the preferred level. Start grinding and extraction according to the machine's control layout to produce a shot of espresso. Use the steam wand to heat and froth milk: purge the wand briefly, immerse the tip correctly in the milk, and create microfoam by adjusting angle and depth while steaming. Clean removable components after use following the manufacturer's cleaning recommendations.

Recommendations

Use medium-roast beans for balanced flavour and grind immediately before brewing for best aroma. Descale regularly when used with hard water and clean the steam wand after each use to maintain hygiene and performance.
