Ethernet-patch-kaapeli ShiverPeaks CAT 7 0,25 m S/FTP, musta

ShiverPeaks CAT 7 Ethernet patch cable, 0.25 m length with S/FTP shielding in black is designed for short, high‑speed connections between network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The compact 0.25 m size is intended for use in rack or desktop environments where reduced cable clutter and minimal signal loss are required. S/FTP shielding provides individual pair foil plus overall braid to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity in congested installations.

Advantages

The cable supports high data rates and stable transmission for gigabit and multi‑gigabit networks, with S/FTP shielding that minimizes crosstalk and external interference. Its short 0.25 m length reduces cable slack and simplifies neat cabling inside racks or on desktops. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates into professional installations, while the robust connector design ensures reliable mating with RJ45 ports.

Suitable for

• Short patching between switches, routers and patch panels in server racks
• Connecting network interface cards (NICs) to nearby network devices
• Desktop or small office setups where minimal cable length is required
• Environments where shielding is needed to protect against EMI and crosstalk

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 7 performance suitable for gigabit and higher Ethernet applications
• Shielding: S/FTP — individually foil‑shielded pairs plus overall braided shield
• Length: 0.25 m for short, space‑saving connections
• Color: black outer jacket
• Connector type: RJ45 compatible plug on both ends for standard Ethernet ports

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use the cable to connect nearby devices—such as a switch to a patch panel or a NIC to a switch—avoiding excessive bending or stretching. The short length makes this cable suitable for internal rack patching or tidy desktop layouts; route it where it will not be pinched by equipment or sharp edges to preserve shielding and conductor integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high‑power electrical lines and avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s bend radius. Use short shielded patch cables like this one for internal rack organization or to replace longer cables that cause clutter. Verify that connected devices support the intended network speeds and that RJ45 connectors are fully seated to maintain reliable connections.
