Ethernet-verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks RJ45–RJ45 Cat6 15 m S/FTP

ShiverPeaks RJ45–RJ45 Cat6 patch cable, 15 m long, with S/FTP shielding is designed for wired Ethernet connections in homes, offices and data closets. The cable supports Category 6 performance for gigabit networks and delivers stable data transmission between switches, routers, servers and wall outlets. S/FTP construction combines an overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple networked devices and electrical equipment.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides consistent gigabit throughput over a 15 m run while maintaining compliance with Cat6 electrical characteristics. The S/FTP shielding minimizes external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, which is beneficial in crowded cable ducts and near other electronic installations. Molded RJ45 plugs with strain relief protect the connector junction and simplify insertion into ports. The cable jacket is halogen-free, meeting safety and low-smoke requirements for indoor LAN installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and networked storage in small and medium-sized networks
• Wired connections between PCs, workstations and wall ports
• Home entertainment systems, smart TV and game console wired setups
• Office cabling runs where reduced EMI and stable gigabit performance are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance suitable for gigabit Ethernet
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Connectors: RJ45 plug at both ends with molded strain relief
• Conductor: twisted pair copper conductors (solid or stranded depending on production)
• Jacket: halogen-free outer sheath for indoor use

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of the source device (for example a switch or router) and the other connector into the destination device such as a PC, NAS or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce possible interference. For fixed installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable length within standard limits for Ethernet runs and avoid excessive bending near the connectors. Use the shielded cable with grounded equipment or shielded patch panels where possible to maximize EMI protection. Store unused cable coiled loosely to prevent kinks.
