EUROLITE PMB-8 QCL 25° hajotuslinssi kapean valokeilan luomiseen

The EUROLITE PMB-8 QCL 25° diffuser disc for narrow beam light shaping is an accessory designed to alter the beam angle of compatible fixtures to approximately 25°. It fits luminaires that accept PMB-8 QCL mounting and is intended to soften and shape a narrow beam for stage, event, or studio applications. This diffuser helps reduce hard edges and create a more uniform light distribution while maintaining a focused projection suitable for precise illumination tasks.

Advantages

This diffuser disc provides controlled narrowing of the beam to an approximate 25° angle, improving beam definition and consistency. It reduces harsh edges and hotspots, producing smoother transitions and a more even light field. The accessory is compact and intended for straightforward integration with fixtures compatible with PMB-8 QCL mounting, enabling rapid modification of beam characteristics without altering the fixture’s core optics.

How to use

Install the EUROLITE PMB-8 QCL 25° diffuser disc onto a compatible fixture following the fixture manufacturer’s instructions for PMB-8 QCL accessories. Ensure the fixture is powered off and cooled before fitting the disc. Once mounted, verify the resulting beam angle and position the fixture as needed to achieve the desired narrow-beam effect. Remove the disc before storage or when returning the fixture to its original beam characteristics.

Recommendations

Use the diffuser disc with fixtures explicitly listed as compatible with PMB-8 QCL mounting. Test the beam on-site to confirm the 25° approximation and make small positioning adjustments to compensate for fixture height and throw distance. Handle the disc carefully to avoid scratches that may affect beam uniformity and store it in protective packaging when not in use.
