Why choose it

Cat5e remains a reliable, cost-effective choice for everyday networking. This cable meets the 100 MHz bandwidth requirement for Gigabit Ethernet, so you get full speed on most office and home networks without paying for higher categories you may not need.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers to wall outlets or switches
• Linking IP phones, printers, and access points
• Short runs in patch panels and server racks
• Temporary setups for events or testing

Good to know

The unshielded design is intended for environments with low electromagnetic interference. For industrial or high-EMI areas, a shielded cable may be more appropriate.
