The Exsys EX-16415 is a high-performance PCI Express FireWire adapter that adds both FireWire 800 (1394b) and FireWire 400 (1394a) connectivity to your desktop computer. Built around a Texas Instruments IEEE1394b OHCi-Lynx chipset, it supports hot-swapping of devices and can be installed alongside existing motherboard FireWire ports. The adapter is compatible with both PC and Apple Power Mac systems, enabling fast data transfers for external storage, video equipment, and other FireWire peripherals.
