EXSYS USB 2.0 aktiivinen jatkokaapeli 5 m Type-A uros - naaras toistimella, musta EX-K1522

When your USB device needs to reach across a room, the EXSYS EX-K1522 steps in. Connect a printer, scanner, webcam, or external drive that sits far from your PC—this 5-meter active extension cable carries both signal and power without the usual drop-off. The built-in repeater regenerates the USB 2.0 signal, so you get the full 480 Mbps data rate even at the end of the line.

Key specifications

• USB 2.0 extension cable, 5.0 meters long
• Connector 1: USB Type-A male; Connector 2: USB Type-A female
• Active repeater chipset maintains signal integrity over distance
• Data transfer rate up to 480 Mbps, backward compatible with USB 1.1
• Bus-powered with optional external DC 3.5mm power jack for high-drain devices
• Double shielding (foil and braid) with tinned copper conductors, black PVC jacket
• Plug and play—no drivers required on Windows, macOS, or Linux

Why choose it

Standard passive USB cables lose signal after 5 meters, but the EX-K1522 includes an active repeater that rebuilds the data stream. That means reliable connections for devices that need to be placed away from the host computer—no more random disconnects or slow transfers. The optional external power port is a rare bonus: plug in a 5V adapter and you can run bus-powered hard drives or other power-hungry peripherals without a separate hub.

Ideal use cases

• Extending a USB printer or scanner from a workstation to a nearby shelf
• Connecting a webcam or microphone in a conference room or studio
• Reaching a USB dongle or sensor mounted on a wall or ceiling
• Adding flexibility to a server rack or test bench where ports are hard to reach

Good to know

The cable is 5 meters long, black, and built with double shielding to resist interference in office or industrial environments. The male A connector plugs into your computer, while the female A port accepts any standard USB device. For most low-power peripherals, the cable is bus-powered and needs no extra setup. If you connect a device that draws more than 500 mA, use the DC jack with a compatible 5V power supply (not included).
