Extralink kuitupatchkaapeli LC/UPC–SC/UPC, monimuotokuitu OM3, duplex, 3 mm vaippa, 1 m

Extralink patchcord for connecting multimode devices. This multimode fiber-optic patchcord (MM 50/125) is a duplex cable with LC/UPC to SC/UPC connectors, built on OM3 fiber with a 3 mm outer jacket and a length of 1 m. It is intended for connecting multimode optical devices and is manufactured to Telcordia standards to ensure long service life and reliable performance. Typical applications include FTTH short-distance backbone links and CCTV installations where LC-to-SC connections are required.

Advantages

The Extralink multimode OM3 duplex patchcord delivers standardized LC/UPC and SC/UPC terminations for straightforward connection between equipment and patch panels. Its 3 mm jacket provides mechanical protection while maintaining flexibility for rack and cabinet routing. Compliance with Telcordia quality requirements ensures consistent attenuation and long-term reliability for short-range multimode links.

Suitable for

• Connecting multimode network equipment with LC and SC ports
• FTTH short-distance backbone and horizontal links
• CCTV fiber video links and local multimode connections
• Patch panels and fiber distribution frames in LAN installations

How to use

Verify port types on both devices (LC/UPC and SC/UPC) before connecting. Route the 3 mm jacketed duplex cable without sharp bends and insert the LC and SC connectors into the corresponding ports until they click or engage. For patch panels, align the connectors with the appropriate adapter sockets. Avoid excessive pulling force on the fiber and secure the cable to cable management elements where necessary.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep connector endfaces clean and use proper fiber cleaning tools before making connections. Maintain minimum bend radius recommended by the manufacturer and avoid tensile stress above the cable's rated pull force. Use OM3 multimode fiber for short-range links up to the distances supported by your equipment.
