Focal Alpha Evo 50 - aktiivinen 2-tie studiomonitori (yksittäin)

The Focal Alpha Evo 50 is an active 2-way studio monitor engineered for precise audio reproduction in nearfield monitoring environments. Its 5-inch Slatefiber woofer and 1-inch aluminum inverted dome tweeter deliver a frequency response from 45 Hz to 22 kHz, ensuring accurate bass and detailed highs. With 70W of Class D amplification and a maximum SPL of 104 dB, this monitor provides ample headroom for mixing and mastering. The front-ported bass-reflex design allows flexible placement, while the automatic standby mode conserves energy. Connect via XLR, TRS, or RCA inputs, and fine-tune the sound with LF and HF shelving EQs. Ideal for home studios, project studios, and critical listening.

Advantages

The Alpha Evo 50 offers transparent sound with low distortion, thanks to its Slatefiber cone technology. The aluminum inverted dome tweeter provides wide dispersion and smooth high frequencies. The front port reduces boundary coupling, making it suitable for placement near walls. The built-in EQ controls allow room adaptation, and the automatic standby feature saves power when not in use. Its compact size and M6 mounting inserts offer versatile installation options.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, position the Alpha Evo 50 at ear height with the tweeter aimed at the listener. Use balanced XLR or TRS connections to minimize noise. Adjust the LF shelving if the monitor is placed near a wall to reduce bass buildup. Pair with a subwoofer for extended low-end if needed. Allow the monitors to break in for several hours before critical mixing.
