Why choose it

This film is trusted by solar observers for its consistent optical quality and safety. The large sheet allows multiple filters or replacements, and the ClearWhite coating gives a more natural view compared to orange-tinted alternatives.

Ideal use cases

• Building a solar filter for a refractor or reflector telescope
• Creating a solar filter for binoculars or camera lenses
• Solar eclipse viewing and photography
• Educational demonstrations of safe solar observation

Good to know

Store the film flat and protect it from sharp objects to maintain its optical properties. Always inspect the film for pinholes or scratches before each use, and never look at the Sun through an unfiltered optical instrument. The film is not pre-mounted; you will need to construct a filter cell or holder according to your equipment's specifications.
