Forstner-poranteräpaketti Einhell-KWB 5 osaa, punainen/läpinäkyvä, 1/4 tuuman varsi, M-CASE (MPN 706003)

Set of five Forstner drill bits by Einhell-KWB designed for accurate, flat-bottom and clean-edge holes in wood. The set includes multiple diameters suited to cabinetry, hinge boring, dowel preparation and general furniture assembly. Each bit has a 1/4" shank for compatibility with standard chucks and adapters. The red/transparent finish and supplied M-CASE enable organized storage and easy identification of sizes.

Advantages

The Forstner bits produce smooth, splinter-free holes with precise centres and flat bottoms, reducing the need for additional finishing. The 1/4" shank allows use with hand drills, drill presses or adapters, giving flexible application across workshops and on-site jobs. The supplied M-CASE protects the bits during transport and keeps them organised for quick access.

How to use

Mark the drilling position clearly and secure the workpiece to prevent movement. Select the appropriate Forstner bit diameter for the task and mount it in a compatible chuck or adapter with the 1/4" shank fully seated. Start drilling at low speed to establish the centre, then increase speed as required while maintaining steady feed pressure. For deep holes, withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips and prevent overheating. After use, clean the bits and return them to the M-CASE for storage.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and dust extraction. Match bit diameter to the hardware or dowel size for a snug fit. For veneered or laminated surfaces, consider backing the area or using a sacrificial backing board to minimize tear-out. Store the set in the supplied M-CASE to protect cutting edges and keep sizes organised.
