Wi-Fi 7 – the new generation of Wi-Fi with multi-gigabit!
Wi-Fi 7 brings top Wi-Fi speeds and offers even more powerful connections for multiple devices. It's therefore ideal for real-time applications such as gaming, virtual reality or video calls. Wi-Fi 7 is perfectly integrated into the FRITZ! ecosystem - all wireless devices work together optimally in the Mesh Wi-Fi, supplying you with top speeds. With punctured mode, your Wi-Fi can circumvent interference. Your FRITZ!Box automatically ensures you have the best connection.

The new Wi-Fi 7 standard adapts to your current environment and also works perfectly with all older wireless devices.

Mesh Wi-Fi with FRITZ!
The FRITZ!Box 7682 Fiber supports Mesh Wi-Fi, meaning your videos, music and photos seamlessly reach every corner of your home, apartment or office. FRITZ!Repeater, FRITZ!Powerline or other FRITZ!Box models adopt the settings of the FRITZ!Box at the internet connection and all devices are always optimally connected – automatically and reliably.

With Mesh you enjoy high speeds while surfing, streaming or gaming. Instead of waiting for breathtaking 4k streaming and your favorite music, your media will wait for you.

Up to 1000 Mbit/s with G.fast
With the FRITZ!Box 7682 you're well prepared for the future: The new DSL model supports G.fast for connections with up to 1 Gbit/s and 35b supervectoring for up to 300 Mbit/s. This means that the high fiber optic speed reaches the apartment via the existing copper lines. The 2.5-gigabit WAN/LAN port also allows you to surf at top speeds on the fiber optic modem.

Automate your FRITZ! Smart Home
The FRITZ!Box 7682 offers practical automation for energy, heating, lighting and more. Control your smart home devices with schedules, scenes or routines. The FRITZ!Box supports smart home products via DECT.

The USB port is perfect for FRITZ!NAS and the FRITZ! media server: Connect an external hard drive to your FRITZ!Box and you have access to it throughout your home network.

Making phone calls fun
The FRITZ!Box 7682 includes a complete telephone system. You can register up to six DECT phones to the built-in DECT base station; with FRITZ!Fon you'll never want to hang up the phone! In addition, you can set up up to five answering machines and manage call lists. Notifications about missed calls or incoming voice messages ensure you're always up to date. You can also sync your online contacts from Google, Apple and more with your FRITZ!Box.

FRITZ!Apps for added convenience
With the FRITZ!Apps you can also use your smartphone to access FRITZ!Box convenience features, make phone calls in the home network and keep an eye on your smart home.

FRITZ!Box, for safety's sake
The security concept covers all areas of the FRITZ!Box: secure browsing thanks to the built-in firewall, Wi-Fi that's protected with an individual network key upon delivery, and guest access that lets friends and family access the internet but not your home network. These and many other features make your communication secure.

FRITZ!OS: The genius behind FRITZ!
FRITZ!OS is the smart operating system for all FRITZ! products. It combines ease-of-use with versatile features and comprehensive security. A clear user interface and wizards accompany you every step of the way. Regular updates keep your FRITZ!Box up to date – you can also turn on automatic updates.

How to use

Connect the FRITZ!Box 7682 to your internet source: use the DSL line for G.fast or supervectoring, or connect a fiber modem to the 2.5 Gigabit WAN port. Power on the device and follow the FRITZ!OS web interface or the setup wizard to configure internet access, Wi‑Fi network names and passwords. Register DECT handsets on the integrated base station, attach an external drive to the USB port for FRITZ!NAS, and add FRITZ!Repeaters or Powerline units to create a Mesh network covering your home.

Recommendations

Place the router centrally and elevated for best wireless coverage, keep FRITZ!OS up to date with automatic updates enabled, and enable Mesh for seamless roaming. For maximum wired speeds use the 2.5 Gbit port and good quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6 or better). Use the built‑in firewall and individual Wi‑Fi network key delivered with the device to maintain network security.
