How to use

Connect the QuickDMX unit to a computer or console using the USB interface and install any required drivers or control software according to the controller manufacturer’s instructions. Configure the unit as a transmitter when sending DMX data from the console or computer, or as a receiver when connecting it to a lighting fixture or DMX input chain. Position transmitter and receiver units with a clear line of sight where possible to maximize link stability; avoid placing units behind large metal structures that may obstruct radio signals. Verify channel addressing and signal integrity in the control software before live operation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, test the wireless link in the actual venue prior to the event and keep spare units or wired backups for critical fixtures. Maintain sufficient separation from other radio equipment to minimize interference and follow local regulations regarding wireless device operation.
