Gardena 7112-20 messinkinen letkuliitin

The Gardena 7112-20 hose connector is a brass fitting designed for reliable water connections in garden watering systems. Constructed from durable brass with a 2.1 cm diameter, this connector provides a tight, corrosion-resistant connection between hoses and accessories. It is suitable for standard garden hoses and common quick-connect systems, offering straightforward installation and steady performance for irrigation, washing, and outdoor water use.

Advantages

Brass construction ensures resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear, extending service life compared with plastic alternatives. The 2.1 cm diameter delivers a secure fit with minimal leakage when paired with properly sized hoses. The connector is straightforward to attach and detach, facilitating quick setup and seasonal storage. Its compatibility with multiple hose systems reduces the need for additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting garden hoses to taps and watering accessories
• Irrigation and sprinkler systems for domestic gardens
• Car washing and outdoor cleaning tasks
• Temporary or seasonal hose assemblies

Key specifications

• Material: Brass
• Nominal connection diameter: 2.1 cm
• Compatibility: Standard garden hoses and common quick-connect fittings
• Corrosion resistance: High (metallic brass construction)
• Typical applications: Outdoor water connections, irrigation, washing

How to use

Ensure the hose end and mating fitting are clean and free of debris. Push the hose firmly onto the connector until it seats against the stop; if the hose uses a clamping ring or hose clamp, position and fasten it to secure the connection. Attach the other side of the connector to the tap, accessory, or quick-coupling as required. After installation, open the water supply slowly and check for leaks, tightening the hose clamp or repositioning the hose if necessary.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair the connector with hoses that match the specified diameter and use a hose clamp where required to prevent slippage. Avoid exposing the brass connector to aggressive chemicals or prolonged saltwater contact. During winter storage, drain water from the connector and store it in a dry place to prevent frost-related damage.
