GARDENA PremiumCut 12240-20 -oksasakset alasimella kuivalle puulle, harmaa/turkoosi

GARDENA PremiumCut 12240-20 anvil pruning shears are designed for cutting dry wood and dead branches. The tool uses an anvil cutting mechanism with a robust anvil blade that provides straightforward chopping action against hardened stems and woody material. The grey and turquoise tool combines a sturdy construction with ergonomic shaping intended for routine garden maintenance such as pruning shrubs, removing deadwood and tidying hedges.

Advantages

The anvil cutting mechanism gives a solid, one-sided contact between blade and anvil that is effective for chopping through dry, hardened wood. The tool construction focuses on durability and reliable cutting power for maintenance tasks rather than precision slicing of green shoots. An ergonomic handle shape and textured grip support controlled cutting and reduce hand strain during repeated use. The hardware and blade finish are chosen to resist wear from regular use on dry material.

Suitable for

• Cutting and removing dead branches and dry wood
• Pruning shrubs and hedges with hardened stems
• General garden maintenance where chopping action is required

Key specifications

• Cutting mechanism: anvil-type for chopping action
• Intended material: dry, hardened wood and dead stems
• Handle design: ergonomic with textured grip for controlled use
• Construction: durable components suited for maintenance tasks
• Color: grey and turquoise

How to use

Position the shears so the blade faces the side of the branch to be removed and bring the blade down onto the anvil to perform a chopping cut. Use short, controlled motions and make sure the workpiece is supported so the cut is clean and the tool can engage the wood fully. For larger or very dense branches, make several small cuts rather than forcing the tool through material beyond its designed capacity. Keep fingers clear of the blade and hold the handle firmly to maintain control while cutting.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the blade and anvil surfaces and remove debris after use. For best performance on dry wood, keep the blade sharp and tighten any fastenings that may loosen with use. Store the shears in a dry place to prevent corrosion and avoid cutting green or fibrous material that can jam the anvil mechanism.
