Gedore 2797062 kuusiokoloavain

The Gedore 2797062 hex key is a compact, double ball-end L-shaped wrench made from Gedore vanadium steel (59CrV4) and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. Its short angled side and double ball ends make it especially suitable for use in confined spaces and where a low profile tool is required. At approximately 3 grams, it is lightweight and designed to provide a secure fit and reliable performance for precision work.

Advantages

The double ball ends allow the user to approach fasteners from different angles and to bypass protrusions, increasing accessibility compared with standard hex keys. The short angled side and low profile reduce the chance of interference in tight areas, while the zinc plating protects the tool surface. The design also helps minimise the risk of finger injury when working on flat surfaces.

How to use

Select the appropriate hex key size for the fastener and insert the ball end into the hex recess at the desired angle. Use the short angled side for low-profile access or the longer arm for additional leverage. Apply steady torque appropriate for the fastener material and condition to avoid rounding the hex. After use, wipe the tool clean and store it in a dry place to maintain the zinc-plated finish.

Recommendations

For best results use the double ball ends to reach angled or obstructed fasteners; avoid excessive torque beyond the fastener’s specification to prevent damage. Regularly inspect the hex key for wear and replace if the ball ends or hex faces show rounding.
