Krypton 555 is an ultra-light, programmable gaming mouse equipped with the innovative Pixart PAW3333 optical sensor and extremely durable mechanical switches with a lifespan of up to 60 million clicks. The ergonomic shape protects the wrists against strain and the RGB lighting allows you to personalize your space.

INNOVATIVE SENSOR
The heart of Krypton 555 is the top of the range Pixart PAW3333 optical sensor, whose capabilities will satisfy even the most demanding players. A maximum cursor tracking speed of 300 IPS with a maximum acceleration of 35G will deliver incredible performance and instant response in every game. In addition, the DPI button with 6 settings will allow you to instantly adjust the cursor speed to your preferences in the range between 200 to 8000 DPI.

RGB PRISMO EFFECT
The mouse has been enriched with an extremely impressive RGB backlight with PRISMO effect, which will illuminate your stand in a colour of your choice and give it a phenomenal character. All settings for the backlight can be easily configured using dedicated software.

UNBELIEVABLE DURABILITY
The mouse is equipped with extremely durable mechanical button switches with a lifespan of up to 60 million clicks. Switches in combination with abrasion resistant Paracord cable will guarantee durability for many years of intensive use.

PROGRAMMABLE BUTTONS
Krypton 555 has 7 programmable buttons, thanks to which one click can unleash an advanced combo. Assign your favourite functions and shortcuts to individual keys, record macros and gain an advantage over your opponents!

ERGONOMIC DESIGN
The contoured design of the mouse and its ergonomic shape will not strain the wrist during gameplay, meaning that even the longest gaming sessions will not tire your hand. Ultra-light body (70 g) will guarantee maximum control during fast movements. The shape of the mouse will especially please players using ‘Palm and Claw’ grips.

DEDICATED SOFTWARE
The advanced Krypton 555 software enables efficient configuration of parameters and assignment of numerous settings to profiles. Change DPI sensitivity, customize multi-colour RGB lighting, create and save macros, and configure each of the 7 programmable buttons! Create the perfect conditions to win!

BUILT-IN MEMORY
The mouse has a built-in memory, so you do not have to configure the settings every time you start the PC. Krypton 555 will remember all your settings even when connected to another computer, so you can easily take your mouse on a trip or to a tournament.

How to use

Connect the mouse to a PC using the USB Type-A connector. Install the dedicated Krypton 555 software to customise DPI steps, assign functions to the seven programmable buttons, create and record macros, and configure the RGB PRISMO lighting. Save your preferred configuration to on-board memory to keep settings when moving between computers. Use the DPI button to cycle through the six sensitivity presets during play.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use the mouse on a clean, low-friction mousepad and avoid sharp bends in the paracord cable. Periodically update the mouse software and firmware when updates are provided to ensure optimal sensor performance and compatibility.

8/10

“Today we are taking a look at the Krypton 555 gaming mouse from Genesis. Coming in with a $29.99 or €25.99 MSRP, this is an incredibly cheap mouse that offers a lot of features for the price, including pararcord-style cable, a lightweight design and…”

Plussat

Decent sensor for the price
Paracord-style braided cable is great quality
Extra PTFE gliders included
Software is well designed and easy to use
Honeycomb design helps keep the weight down
Very competitively priced

Miinukset

Weight is listed as 70g but weighs 75g on my scales with cable removed
RGB “prism” effect doesn't look that good
Honeycomb design hides the Genesis logo and looks messy
The scroll wheel offers little resistance
DPI and RGB buttons are a bit cheap feel
