GIRA 445301 SCHUKO-pistorasia sulkimella, System 55, kerma

The GIRA 445301 SCHUKO socket outlet with shutter belongs to the System 55 range and stands out for its cream finish, which blends into light wall colours while retaining the familiar GIRA insert dimensions. The integrated shutter mechanism keeps the contacts covered until a plug is inserted evenly, making it a practical choice for homes with children or for anyone who wants a tidier wall appearance.

Highlights

• SCHUKO socket outlet with integrated shutter (erhöhter Berührungsschutz)
• Cream-coloured finish from the System 55 design line
• Compatible with standard GIRA System 55 frames and flush-mounted boxes
• Straightforward replacement for existing SCHUKO sockets

In daily use

The shutter opens only when both pins of a SCHUKO plug are inserted with normal force, which reduces accidental contact with live parts. The cream colour is a deliberate alternative to pure white or aluminium, giving a warmer look without changing the installation depth or frame size. Because it uses the System 55 insert, it can be combined with switches, dimmers and other inserts from the same series in multi-gang frames.
