Alcasa HDMI-DP020 videokaapeli-sovitin 2 m HDMI Type-A DisplayPort musta

The Alcasa HDMI-DP020 video cable adapter is a 2 m connection cable with HDMI Type A (Standard) on one end and DisplayPort on the other, offered in a black finish. It provides a direct physical link between HDMI source devices and DisplayPort-equipped displays, enabling the transmission of high-definition video and audio over a single cable. The cable length and standard connectors make it suitable for desktop setups, workstations, meeting rooms and home entertainment systems where a short to medium reach is required.

Advantages

The cable supports reliable digital signal transmission between HDMI output devices and DisplayPort input displays, reducing the need for separate audio wiring. Its 2 m length balances reach and cable management for most desktop and AV installations. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with common AV equipment and furniture. The use of standard HDMI Type A and DisplayPort connectors ensures compatibility with a wide range of consumer and professional devices that accept these interface types.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI media players, laptops or set-top boxes to DisplayPort monitors or projectors
• Desktop workstations where the display has a DisplayPort input and the source provides HDMI output
• Small meeting rooms and home offices for screen sharing or presentations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector 1: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Connector 2: DisplayPort
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A end to the HDMI output of your source device and insert the DisplayPort end into the DisplayPort input of your monitor or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the corresponding DisplayPort channel. Adjust display resolution and audio settings on the source device if required to match the capabilities of the connected display. Disconnect by gently pulling the connector bodies, avoiding excessive force on the cable itself.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for direct point-to-point connections without additional passive adapters in the signal path. Verify that your source and display support the desired resolution and audio formats; if the display or source requires an active conversion between HDMI and DisplayPort signalling, use a compatible active adapter or converter. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources to reduce interference.
