GoodConnections RNS SlimLine Cat.6A U/FTP LSZH patch-kaapeli, 5 m, valkoinen 8060-HS050W

In a busy office, a network technician needs to connect a workstation to a 10G switch without bulky cabling cluttering the cable management. The GoodConnections RNS SlimLine patch cable is the answer: a slender, white Cat.6A cable that delivers full 10 Gigabit performance while taking up minimal space in racks and conduits. Its slim design and halogen-free jacket make it ideal for high-density installations where airflow and fire safety are critical.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A (500 MHz) – supports 10GBASE-T up to 100 m
• Shielding: U/FTP with PiMF (pairs in metal foil) for excellent alien crosstalk resistance
• Conductor: Stranded copper (CU) for flexibility and durability
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) – emits low smoke and no toxic halogens in fire
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: White
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, slim strain relief boots
• Compliance: TIA/EIA-568-C.2, backward compatible with Cat.6, Cat.5e, Cat.5

Why choose it

The SlimLine design reduces cable diameter by up to 25% compared to standard Cat.6A patch cords, easing cable management and improving airflow in dense racks. The U/FTP construction with individual pair shielding ensures reliable 10G performance even in electrically noisy environments. The LSZH jacket is a safety must for public buildings, offices, and data centers where fire regulations demand low smoke and zero halogen emissions. Stranded copper conductors provide the flexibility needed for frequent moves and changes.

Ideal use cases

• High-density patch panels and switches in data centers
• Office workstations requiring 10G Ethernet connectivity
• PoE applications (up to PoE++) where heat dissipation is a concern
• Public buildings, schools, and hospitals with strict fire safety codes
• Structured cabling systems that need a clean, professional look

Good to know

This cable is backward compatible with all lower Ethernet categories, so you can use it in mixed networks without issues. The white colour blends seamlessly into modern interiors and helps with cable identification. Each cable is individually tested to meet Cat.6A performance standards. For best results, pair with GoodConnections Cat.6A keystone jacks and patch panels.
