Verkkokaapeli Alcasa 30 m Cat6 S/FTP oranssi

The Networking Cable Alcasa 30m Cat6 S/FTP Orange is a 30-metre Category 6 Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. The cable uses S/FTP shielding (screened overall with foil and individually shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact conductivity and resist corrosion. The bright orange jacket improves visibility, helping to identify and trace the cable within structured cabling, home networks, or shared workspaces.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable offers improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable gigabit Ethernet connections. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact performance, while the 30 m length accommodates long wall-to-equipment or rack-to-desk runs without needing additional joins. The orange outer jacket increases visibility for maintenance and cable management.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit Ethernet connections in home and small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS devices, and desktop computers
• Cabinet-to-workstation or patch panel-to-switch runs requiring a visible cable color
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is needed (near power lines or multiple cables)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 30 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Orange
• Typical use: Ethernet data transmission up to gigabit speeds

How to use

Route the Alcasa 30m Cat6 S/FTP Orange cable between the network devices you wish to connect, avoiding sharp bends and tight coils to preserve conductor integrity and shielding. Insert the RJ-45 plugs fully into the corresponding ports until they click. If routing through cabinets or conduits, ensure the cable bending radius meets standard Cat6 installation practices and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines where possible. Test the connection after installation using a network tester or by verifying link/activity LEDs on devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain proper separation from strong electromagnetic sources, avoid excessive twisting or kinking, and secure the cable with appropriate fasteners to prevent strain on connectors. Use the orange color to label or mark network paths for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
