Verkkokaapeli Alcasa 8080-200G 20 m Cat8.1 S/FTP vihreä

The Alcasa 8080-200G 20m Cat8.1 S/FTP Green networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in homes, offices and data environments. It uses the Cat8.1 standard with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to deliver stable transmission and handle demanding network loads up to 40000 Mbit/s over its 20-metre length. The green outer jacket provides clear visual identification in cable runs and rack installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces interference from external electromagnetic sources and minimises crosstalk between pairs, improving signal integrity for high-frequency data transmission. The Cat8.1 category supports very high bandwidths and low latency for modern network equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 20 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across larger rooms or between racks while maintaining consistent performance.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area networks (LAN) requiring up to 40000 Mbit/s throughput
• Data centres and server rooms with short- to medium-distance links
• Professional AV installations and streaming systems
• Home offices and workplaces with high-bandwidth applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Cable length: 20 m
• Colour: green

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully to avoid kinks and route it through cable management channels or along baseboards as required. Insert RJ-45 connectors firmly into compatible network ports on switches, routers, servers or networked devices until a click confirms the connection. Ensure both ends are fully seated and secure any excess length to reduce strain and prevent accidental disconnection. For rack or cabinet installations, use appropriate cable ties or Velcro straps to maintain bend radius and avoid sharp bends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance keep the cable away from high-power electrical wiring and large electromagnetic sources. Maintain the recommended bend radius for Cat8.1 cables and avoid repeated tight bending or pinching. Test connections after installation with a network tester to verify link speed and line quality.
