Verkkokaapeli Alcasa Cat7 50 m RJ-45 S/FTP violetti

The Alcasa Cat7 50m networking cable in violet provides a shielded, high-performance connection for wired networks. Built with S/FTP shielding and terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, this cable supports 10GBase-T data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s over a 50 m length. Its durable jacket and precise construction reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, delivering stable throughput for demanding network environments at home or in small offices.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually shielded pairs to minimise external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance at the connector interface. The 50 metre length provides flexibility for network layouts without compromising the rated 10GBase-T performance, while the violet jacket facilitates cable identification and tidy routing within racks or workspaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbps in home or small office networks
• Point-to-point links between switches, routers, NAS devices and workstations
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved signal integrity
• Structured cabling runs where colour-coded cabling improves organisation

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat7)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Violet
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s

How to use

Route the Alcasa Cat7 cable between network devices, avoiding tight bends and sharp kinks to maintain signal integrity. Terminate the cable into RJ-45 ports on switches, routers or NICs; the gold-plated connectors are designed for direct plug-and-play installation. For best results, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large electrical equipment, and secure it with suitable cable ties or management accessories to prevent mechanical strain.

Recommendations

For optimal 10GBase-T performance, use this cable for runs up to 50 metres and pair it with compatible Cat7 or higher-rated network equipment. When installing in dense cable trays or long bundles, ensure adequate ventilation and avoid excessive compression to preserve shielding effectiveness.
