Grafiittikynä Faber-Castell 118296 B musta roosa 2 kpl

The Faber-Castell 118296 graphite pencil B is supplied as a set of two pencils with soft B-grade cores. Designed in Germany and finished in black and rose colours, these pencils deliver smooth, readable strokes suited to general writing, sketching and shading tasks. The construction omits PVC in materials to reduce exposure to certain plasticizers and aligns with standard safety expectations for writing instruments.

Advantages

These B-grade pencils provide a balance between darkness and control: the softer core produces richer lines than HB while retaining sufficient firmness for detail work. The contrasting black and rose lacquer finishes allow quick visual identification and add a subtle aesthetic variation. The absence of PVC supports safer use and easier disposal compared with pencils that include PVC-containing binders.

Suitable for

• Everyday writing and note-taking
• Sketching and preliminary drawings
• Shading and tonal studies in pencil artwork
• Schoolwork and office use

Key specifications

• Core hardness: B (soft)
• Pack quantity: 2 pencils
• Body colours: black and rose
• Manufacture origin: Germany
• Material note: PVC-free construction

How to use

Sharpen the pencil to a comfortable point for writing or drawing. Use lighter pressure for sketch outlines and increase pressure for darker lines and shading. For smooth gradients, vary stroke direction and layer tones gradually. Erase with a soft eraser to correct marks without damaging paper fibres.

Recommendations

Store pencils horizontally or in a pencil case to prevent breakage of the core. For extended drawing sessions, keep a sharpener and a quality eraser available. When blending, use a light touch or a blending stump to maintain paper integrity.
