Grafiittikynä Staedtler 120-2 KP72

The Staedtler 120-2 KP72 graphite pencil is produced in Germany and designed for everyday writing, sketching and technical drawing. It features an even-quality graphite core that provides smooth, consistent lines and good eraseability. The pencil’s ergonomic hexagonal barrel supports comfortable grip and balanced handling during extended use. Its lacquered finish resists smudging and makes the surface easy to hold while sharpening yields a precise point suitable for detail work as well as general note-taking.

Advantages

The pencil delivers uniform graphite laydown that reduces the need for frequent resharpening and ensures predictable stroke density. Its ergonomic shape minimizes hand fatigue for students, draftspeople and illustrators. Manufactured to German quality standards, the instrument offers reliable durability and consistent performance across multiple uses. The wood casing is easy to sharpen cleanly, producing a stable tip for controlled lines.

Suitable for

• General writing and note-taking
• Sketching and preliminary drawing
• School and educational use
• Office and administrative tasks
• Technical outlining and light drafting

Key specifications

• Core material: high-quality graphite for smooth writing
• Barrel shape: hexagonal for secure grip
• Finish: lacquered wood casing
• Country of manufacture: Germany
• Pointing: suitable for precise and general-purpose points

How to use

Hold the hexagonal barrel between thumb and forefinger to maintain a stable grip. Sharpen the wood casing with a standard pencil sharpener until the desired point is achieved; for fine detail use a sharper, more precise tip, for broader strokes maintain a slightly blunter point. Apply consistent pressure on the paper to achieve even graphite coverage—vary pressure for lighter or darker tones during sketching. Erase marks with a soft, clean eraser when necessary to correct or refine work.

Recommendations

For best results, store pencils horizontally to prevent breakage of the graphite core and use sharpeners that produce a smooth bevel. Combine with a soft eraser for clean corrections and a fine-grain paper for improved line control and reduced smudging.
