Grafiittilyijykynä Staedtler 122 KP72

The Staedtler 122 KP72 graphite pencil is manufactured in Germany and designed for reliable writing and drawing. Its high-quality graphite core produces smooth, even strokes suitable for precise lines and shaded areas. The pencil’s hexagonal wooden body offers stable grip and prevents rolling on flat surfaces, while the core sharpens cleanly for a fine point. This pencil is suitable for everyday use in schools, offices, technical sketching, and artistic tasks.

Advantages

The Staedtler 122 KP72 delivers consistent tonal output and reduced breakage thanks to a well-balanced graphite formulation. The hexagonal shape enhances handling comfort and control during extended use. Its wood casing sharpens easily and maintains point integrity, enabling accurate line work. Manufactured to consistent quality standards in Germany, the pencil provides predictable performance across multiple uses.

Key specifications

• Core material: high-quality graphite for smooth, uniform strokes
• Body shape: hexagonal wooden barrel for secure grip
• Origin: manufactured in Germany
• Sharpening: easy to sharpen with standard pencil sharpeners
• Applications: writing, drawing, shading, sketching

How to use

Hold the pencil in a standard writing grip for controlled lines or at a lower angle for broader shading. Sharpen with a conventional sharpener to expose an even point; for thicker strokes use a blunter tip. Use light, repeated strokes to build tone gradually when shading and apply more pressure for darker lines. Store horizontally or in a pencil case to protect the point and avoid unnecessary breakage.

Recommendations

For precise technical lines, sharpen to a fine point and use a light hand. For smoother shading, maintain a slightly blunted tip and work with layered strokes. Avoid applying excessive pressure near the wood core to reduce the risk of breakage. Combine with erasers and blending tools as needed for correction and tonal blending.
