Hallitsematon kytkin Trendnet TPE-TG50g

The Unmanaged Switch Trendnet TPE-TG50g is a compact 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE+) on four ports and one additional Gigabit uplink port. It provides a 31-watt PoE budget, a switching capacity of 10 Gbps, and an 8000-entry MAC address table in a sturdy metal housing. The device supports industry IEEE standards for reliable wired networking and is designed for simple plug-and-play deployment to expand wired LANs.

Advantages

The Trendnet TPE-TG50g delivers four Gigabit PoE+ ports to power and connect compatible devices while offering a separate Gigabit port for uplink. With a 31 W PoE budget and full-duplex switching at wire speed (10 Gbps total), it supports common IEEE PoE and Ethernet standards for broad compatibility. The metal enclosure adds durability for desktop or sheltered rack use, and the unmanaged design requires no configuration for quick installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting and powering IP cameras in small surveillance setups
• Powering wireless access points in small offices or home networks
• Expanding wired ports for VoIP phones and other PoE endpoints
• Adding a simple Gigabit uplink to a router or core switch

How to use

Place the Trendnet TPE-TG50g on a flat surface or mount it in a sheltered equipment area, connect the uplink Gigabit port to your router or core switch using a Cat5e/Cat6 cable, then connect PoE-capable devices to the four PoE+ ports. Powered devices will receive both data and power over the same Ethernet cable; non-PoE devices can be connected using Trendnet's PoE splitter to separate power and data. The switch operates without configuration—devices obtain network connectivity automatically.

Recommendations

Distribute the 31 W PoE budget across connected PoE devices according to their power class. Use high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables for Gigabit performance and ensure adequate ventilation around the metal enclosure to prevent overheating.
